This Looks Sketchy

Warning, this is really low-quality random uncolored unshaded sketchbook junk, proceed at your own risk X'D

1) Adelle, my gun-slinging cranky wannabe-classy feliiz character! She's mine, but her lovely fluffy feliiz race belongs to the ever-awesome *IchibanGravity <3

2) Me trying to figure out Luke's dragon design haha. Evan says it needs moar fluffy.

3) This is Noel, one of very few vampires I have left. I used to have tons but then realized I was using vampirism more as a character accessory than something that really defined who they were, so I shed a lot of them, <XD;; He is of a particularly fluffy subspecies (subcurse?) of vampire.

4) Ao, my nature spirit aww yah. This sketch made it into her final reference, which some of you probably noticed. X'D

5) Adderlung / land leviathan sketchy doodles, inspired by ~lunalupa's lovely skull drawings for the FW bestiary.

6) Philemon as a feliiz, oh geez. XD;; PHILIIZ! Again, feliiz belong to Evan.

7) Doodles of my demon of wrath, who has an annoying and ever-changing design that's supposed to be based off beelzebubs and locusts. Right now his name's Seere, but that might change.

8) Chii, the fluffite!

9) One of very few stick doodles that snuck into the dump, because I thought the wings were perdy. Maybe it's Asthma? Originally there were going to be a lot more dumb stick figure things like this but I cut them out for the sake of people's sanity. Pity too, there was one that was me trying to figure out how to show my one arachnophobic character getting hung by spiderwebs, and I thought it was funny. :'D NOPE I DON'T TORTURE CHARACTERS AT ALL NUH-UH

11) Soliel, my mechanical phoenix, in both his big and little forms. As it says in the notes, I'll probably shorten up his neck a bit, but overall I'm glad I've finally nailed down something of a design for him. I think his tail can vary between rooster-curve and more normal swishy look.

12) My first attempt at designing Nicole. Err, well, kind of first--really it's a draw-over of the first doodle that was underneath it. Anyway, as you can see, design hasn't changed much from first idea to final. X'D

13) Doodle of a species I had in mind that was supposed to work as a sort of ying-and-yang concept: males and females only have half-bodies, once they find a mate they become whole and take on a complete shape, yadda yadda. Might pick up the idea again later but couldn't really figure it out. :/

14) Ao again.

15) Soliel again, didn't like this one as much, although the neck length is more proper.

16) Random things! Uhhh I think one is Gatto in his creepy cult clothes and the other is another attempt at yingyang beastie.

17) Solace. Attempting to combine eastern dragon body form(deer antlers, carp scales, eagle talons, etc) with western wings and shorter body shape. Might get redesigned again, and still unsure about his colors, bah.

18) The original lineart for Apple's gift! As you can see, I ran out of room for the curve of his tail, so I had to digitally draw that in later X'D The drawing is of Tolano, who belongs, of course, to *applescruff!

19) Um random snake thing sneaking up on random fluffy thing? Drawn when Evan came up to visit me It was on a doodle page that I didn't draw his characters on, so it was one of the few I didn't have him take with him when he left, haha!

20) Mathemius, a dungeon dragon. Despite the name making one imagine these are beasts you'd find skulking about guarding treasures in a dungeon, they are actually a super friendly breed meant to help good knights break into dungeon and rescue people. This fella in particular is from a game I used to play with a friend when I was little that involved a lot of bouncing on a trampoline pretending to be monsters and hitting one another with fake swords. Good times, good times!

21) Sketches to help me figure out designs for story characters. Story's premise is a post nuclear war world in which people have taken on animal characteristics over thousands of years in order to survive. SHRIKES YAY. <3 Gave up on trying to attach fingers at the bend of the wing and settled on the cartoonish finger-feathers thing instead.

22) AHAHA OH GOD IS THAT SIENE? In theory, yes, but considering it was done in two minutes without a reference it looks very little like him. Siene is (c) ~SwiftclawFlamewing and is actually much cuter than this. The thing next to him is a random fluff.

23) A bad attempt at drawing Izrahilan and Efidriza, both of whom belong to ~VoidFire. I'd jotted down a quick sketch of them to serve as reference for a better drawing, then ended up just working over the sketch, explaining the dumb boring post. >___< SOMEDAY I SHALL DRAW THEM PROPERLY.

24) A dragon thingie inspired largely by the second water colossus in SotC, I do believe. Which is crazy, because I hateee that colossus. D:<

25) Mesprit, who needs character development a lot.

26) Lucian the charizard!

Except a more colorful albeit still very low quality dump of some of my dragon designs later, ehehe!
